 Hotel\, and not Day2 in Aviva Stadium Conference Centre\, as previously ad
 vertised). \nARCHER\, the UK's national supercomputing service\, offers tr
 aining in software development and high-performance computing to scientist
 s and researchers across the UK. As part of our training service\, in coll
 aboration with the Women in HPC network (www.womeninhpc.org.uk) and the PR
 ACE Scientific and Industrial Conference we will be running a 1.5 day ‘H
 ands on Introduction to HPC’ training session.\nThis course provides bot
 h a general introduction to High Performance Computing (HPC) using the UK 
 national HPC service\, ARCHER\, as the platform for exercises.Familiarity 
 with desktop computers is presumed but no programming or HPC experience is
  required. Programmers can however gain extra benefit from the course as s
 ource code for all the practicals will be provided.\nThis event is open to
  everyone interested in using HPC\, but all our training staff will be wom
 en and we hope that this provides an opportunity for women to network and 
 build collaborations as well as learning new skills for a challenging and 
 rewarding career in HPC.\n\nThe training will be held at the Ballsbridge H
 otel\,where many conference attendees will be staying\, on both of the tra
 ining days.  PRACEDays opening session immediately after the close of the
  training session on the Tuesday will take place at the Aviva Stadium Conf
 erence Centre\, less than 10 minutes walk from the Ballsbridge hotel.PRACE
