DESCRIPTION:Alzheimer’s Disease research is accelerating with exciting ne
w insights into molecular and cellular mechanisms. This upcoming conferenc
e brings together some of the thought leaders in the field with young inve
stigators to stimulate discussion and interaction.\n\nWe anticipate furthe
r insights into the triangle amyloid\, Tau and neuroinflammation and how t
hese might provide novel therapeutic approaches.\n\nThe following topics w
ill be the focus of this conference:\n- Genes and environment\n- Synapse a
nd circuitry\n- Mechanisms and models of disease\n- Seeds and spreading of
disease\n\nNext to an inspiring scientific program\, conference participa
nts will have ample networking opportunities (both live and virtual) durin
g the breaks\, poster sessions and the conference dinner.\n\n**Information
for poster submissions**\nThe format for your poster should be: A0 (841 x
  1189 mm / 33.1 x 46.8 in)\, portrait orientation. The best fourteen abstr

7 August 2021. All accepted poster submissions will have a chance to win o
ne of the two SAO Poster Prizes.\n\n**SAO sponsored Travel grants and regi
stration waive**\nSAO will sponsor 10 poster presenters (PhD or postdoc) f
or a travel grant plus registration fee waive. Submit your motivation belo
w by clicking on the 'Apply for a grant' button before 30 July 2021. The o
rganizing committee will notify you of your travel grant acceptance by the
